Q: Do I need an Internet connection?

A: Yes. Our system is entirely based around the internet. Without the Internet connection you would not be able to view real time reports or update who is restricted from what.

Q: What kind of products can you vend from the machines?

A: PPE, MRO, tools, office supplies, medical supplies, relays, sensors, etc… In most cases, if we can get it out of the receiving door, then we can “vendit”.

Q: What if my machine breaks down. Who will fix it?

A: We have service technicians on the road throughout Southern Ontario. If you are outside of our service area, our 50+ years of experience in the vending industry has allowed us to make contacts with other service companies throughout North America.

Q: What if product gets hung up and the employee has to make another selection? I don’t want my employees being accountable for products that they didn’t use.

A: We only use brand new, state-of-the-art machines that have advanced sensor technology. These sensors guarantees the delivery of the selected product. Infra red scanners across the receiver bin will recognize if product doesn’t cross its path. In that case, the coils will turn again. If product still doesn’t vend, the system will record it as a failed transaction.

Q: I like the supplier that we are using now. Do I have to change suppliers?

A: We only supply the sVendit system, NOT the supplies that you put in the machines. If your supplier is a distributor of ours, then they will already be familiar with Vendit. If your supplier is not a distributor, then we can help them out with training of the system.

Q: We have looked into similar vending machines for our supplies in the past but they were too expensive. How much does Vendit cost?

A: We are unique in this industry because we are a vending machine distributor that created a solution for tracking and controlling inventory. All of the software and the Vendit.ca website was created by us. This helps keep our costs down to a fraction of that of similar systems that are available today. Also, if you need more than 1 machine per location, the price drops even more.

Q: How many machines will I need for my facility?

A: It all depends on your usage. We will help you figure that out. Typically the rule of thumb is 1 machine per 100 employees, however the numbers vary.

Q: We have products that might break if they are dropped from a coil machine, and we have some products that need to be kept cold. Do you have any other solutions?

A: Yes. We have machines that are refrigerated, machines that use a vacuum, machines that run on a carousel and machines that work on a conveyor belt. Most of the time we use the coil machines because they have the largest capacity, however if you have a request for products that cannot be dropped, we will help you to figure out a solution that is tailored to your situation.

Q: What do I have to do to get a machine?

A: We will need a purchase order, samples products of the items you wish to vend, and current usage reports. We will also have to speak with your IT Department to make sure that our software can communicate with your server.

Q: Do you offer financing options?
A: For Ontario residents we offer 3 different options. Purchase, 12-month rental, or 3-year lease to own contracts. If you are outside of Ontario, talk to your local distributor if you would like to arrange anything other than a purchase.
